Useful keyboard shortcuts for Windows 8, press the Windows key + another in combination
Windows+W = bring up Apps menu.
Windows+X = similar to old Start Menu from Windows 7, select Desktop to get view you see above.
Windows+I = gets you to a shutdown screen.

Just follow our Video-2-PC Windows 7 instructions if using Windows 8. The kit runs in the classic Windows interface, not Metro.
